What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu is the Japanese name for Acupressure.

It is a hands on treatment, using gentle pressures, stretches and articulations to bring about a deep relaxation response. The beneficial effects of increased circulation and a balancing of energies in the body then follow from the intention of the practitioner. Visualisation and breathing can be used in the rebalancing, alongside the touch techniques.

Sue’s unique approach to Shiatsu flows from a deep connection with stillness with the potential for richness, diversity and abundance.  It is a creative space intended to bring closer connections to the soul and improve the integration of truth.   We may need to move on from outdated concepts and beliefs in order to experience healing.
